Sports & Action Photography (SAP)

This new special interest group is starting in 2010. The group’s aim is to assist members to develop their skills at photographing sports and action events. This is not an inclusive list but a starting point. However, unlike other groups, we wish to concentrate on photographing moving people and objects.

SAP will provide a supportive environment for photographers with a wide range of experience, in which all can learn from each other to enhance and develop their skills and competency.

Members will be encouraged to actively attend regular field trips, as a group, and bring back images to SAP meetings for discussion, review and critique.

Monthly technique challenges will be set depending upon events attended and a selection of images submitted to Impact and the club’s web site.

At this stage meeting venues/times/days will be decided by the founding members of SAP.
