Flânerie and Figments

May 2008 - October 2008, Courtenay Place Park

The newly opened Courtenay Place Park includes a public art exhibition space unique in New Zealand, with purpose-built, three-metre tall light boxes designed to display visual art.

The inaugural light box exhibition is entitled Flânerie and Figments and coincides with the opening of the park. It features contemporary photography by eight Wellington artists – Andy Palmer, John Lake, Victoria Birkinshaw, Shaun Lawson, Amelia Handscomb, Steve Rowe, Jessica Silk and Clare Noonan.
