Opening a creative eye – Jordyn O’Keefe

Monday, 28 July, The Arts Centre, 61-69 Abel Smith Street, 7.30pm

Jordyn O'Keeffe teaches a range of photography courses, including Creative Eye, at Wellington High in the adult education programme. She is a highly respected photographer and teacher and is passionate about
fostering new creative talent in Wellington.

Jordyn has been instrumental in helping many students and recreational photographers start exhibition groups that allows them a public forum for their work and challenges groups to continue working and growing artistically.

Jordyn will take us through the key elements of visual design in photography, including line, shape, lighting, and perspective from both a technical point of view and in terms of conveying emotional impact.

In addition, we will have the selection of the WPS entries for the Wellington Interclub print battle (for subjects 7-12). These are as follows.

  • Rocks
  • One Tree
  • Glint In The Eye
