Annual Print Competition

Closing date for entries for the annual print competition.

We are now calling for entries in the WPS 2011 Print Competition. This year the competition will consist of a single open category to allow maximum creative freedom for members. The submission deadline is Thursday, 26 May 2011 (helpfully, this is a normal club night), and the results will be presented on Thursday, 23 June.

Members are encouraged to submit up to three prints for consideration. Images must not have been used in any previous WPS competition. Prints should be mounted, but not framed.

Entries may be brought along to any of the member nights from tonight right up to the deadline, or dropped into Wellington Photographic Supplies on Vivian Street up to the close of business on 26 May.

• Minimum size of print - 10" (254mm) along the longest edge
• Maximum size of mat and/or mount - 16" x 20" (406mm x 508mm)
• A print competition entry form must be completed for each print and attached to the back of the mount at the centre top. Copies of the entry form have been published in Impact!, or you can email your Competitions Secretary, David Arthur.
