2010 Inter-Club Print Battle

This year’s hosts, the Hutt Camera Club, have posted the list of subjects for the Inter-Club Print Battle to be held on 10th August, 2010.

So if you’re up for a challenge in your personal photography, you might want to consider heading out on a photo mission specifically to shoot for one or more of the following themes:

• Footprints
• Delicate
• Things that no longer work
• Emotion
• Before and after
• Bubbles
• Frozen
• Serenity
• Transportation
• Looking through

For those who aren’t familiar with how the battle works: everyone is encouraged to put forward images in as many categories as they like, and we choose our club’s single entry for each subject via a show of hands at our regular meetings (8 July for the first five subjects, 22 July for the remainder). Just bring your prints (of a reasonable size) along to the respective meeting.

Our 10 images then go head to head with the entries from the other four clubs in the greater Wellington region, during a fun night that everyone is encouraged to attend.

This year’s battle night is 10th August. The venue is the Petone Baptist Church, 38 Buick St, Petone. There is ample off-street parking.
